New Orleans, LA

Well, We're home! Last spent last week in New Orleans. Although there were many things we wanted to do while we were there, our time was limited, and I had to be at a conference all day, so my sightseeing was minimal.
On Saturday, BJ and I flew with Karly (a total of 5 hours). She was amazing. Our flight out was at 6am, so we just put her straight into her carseat from her crib, and she slept for the better part of the flight. For the other parts, she was happy as could be, and very interested in everyone around us. It was really nice to be able to take her and have her be in such a wonderful mood.
The rest of the week was loads of fun, and since Wednesday was my birthday, Mom and Dad took Karly for the night so BJ and I could go out. It was so much fun! We went to a local bar and got a wonderful cajun meal, a great beer (i really like Abita Ales!), and joked around with quite a few locals. Next, we took the trolley to a bar where a Microsoft event was being held. They had a Poison cover band, and we danced the rest of the night away. What a great night!
The trip home was definently much more difficult (everyone was tired and crabby). I think we will plan our next vacation to include plenty of naps for Karly the day before we leave!!!
Until next time, here are some adorable pictures of Karly in her new dress that Grandma Deni bought her in New Orleans!
